The event was organised by the school's business student council and offered pupils practical guidance for their future careers. The day was organised as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Career choice day (mornings)<\/strong><br \/>\nIn two time slots, we were able to familiarise interested pupils with our company by means of a company presentation. In addition to an overview of our fields of activity, apprenticeships and benefits, we were also able to present exciting facts, figures and data - including exclusive insights into projects. It was great to see how attentively the pupils listened, thought along and asked questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201eDay of the Craft\u201c (afternoon)<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the afternoon, we continued straight away: as part of the \u201eDay of Crafts\u201c, five 9th grade classes visited us every half hour - also on site in the classrooms of the secondary school.<br \/>\nWe had prepared an interactive programme for them:<\/p>\n<p>???? <strong>VEDDER quiz<\/strong><br \/>\n???? <strong>Recognising wood species<\/strong><br \/>\n???? <strong>Guess carpentry terms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The pupils took part with great curiosity and enthusiasm - not only was knowledge imparted, but they also laughed a lot and showed interest in our internships and apprenticeships.<\/p>\n<p>In general, it was an all-round successful day!<br \/>\nWe would like to thank the secondary school for the invitation and the pupils for their interest in VEDDER.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to next year!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ein spannender Tag voller Eindr\u00fccke, Gespr\u00e4che und Teamgeist Am Donnerstag (10.
