Wallersdorf site - exploring the company as part of Girls' Day - Landau Academy

On Wednesday afternoon (26 February 2025), we welcomed 15 schoolgirls from the Viktor-Karell-Realschule in Landau and their project supervisors from the Girls'Day Academy. The visit was part of Girls'Day - Girls' Future Day, which aims to promote girls in professional fields in which they are currently underrepresented, particularly in the areas of trades, technology and science.

After a warm welcome and introduction to our company, the event began with a company presentation. The focus was on the carpentry apprenticeship, and we were able to give the schoolgirls an in-depth insight into the wide range of training opportunities at Vedder. The subsequent tour of our production facilities was particularly exciting, allowing the students to experience our production processes at first hand.

In the practical part of the afternoon, the pupils were allowed to design their own snack board, which they were then allowed to take home with them - a great souvenir of their visit with us.

Great that you were with us!
